our hideout

today is our pay day! met kai wei to orchard, and we got our pay! hehs. went around to shop a little while. pull and bear had offers but i didnt like any. kai wei got herself a top though. hahas!
decided to head over to hideout cafe for yu jin.
surprise girl! and my next purpose was to eat the mince meat noodles there. it was fantastic. u know? the one in bedok blk 85. hehs. damn nice kaes. we also ordered "tang yuan" and chicken wings! awesome dinner. cheapo dinner. hahas!
and we played games in yu jin's brother's board game cafe. we're playing some shooting game. i lost.. :(

so thanks to yu jin who insists that "the night is still young", kai wei and i stayed for several games and lost ourselves in those hilarious moments -- i was the loser, for many games, brainless games, intelligent games, i didnt win either. oblivious to the time which didnt bother to stop for us, it was already past midnight before we realised there wasnt any cheap transport home anymore.

not wanting to splurge, kai wei and i decided to take the night rider. amounts up to $6 per person.we had to take it twice. nevr mind about the time since we decided to buy chips and beverage and sweets to party in the bus which seemed to take forever to find the way to our homes.
we chatted, counted the number of 7-11 outlets along the stretch of geylang. and there's around 11 i suppose. hahas.

despite being really worn out, we still managed to gather enough energy to gossip and even point at random people on the streets to laugh at, joke at, making time go faster as we dwell in our 'girl' world. we were hoping for a saviour who could drive a car, to save us from our forlorn state. straddling the roads of orchard, we waited and waited for the night rider to come along... and when it finally came, we heaved a sigh of relief. finally, we can go home.

and night rider was our worst option.
and our inside joke, lame as it is, we'll remember it. "now you see it, now you don't!" was what she uttered when a piece of potato chip fell on the floor. hilariously hilarious.
